The Safety Net Project offers internships and volunteer opportunities at our Lower Manhattan offices on a rolling basis. We welcome undergraduates, graduate students, law students, and volunteers seeking to contribute to our advocacy and legal work by assisting our staff.

The Domestic Violence Project at the Urban Justice Center seeks a highly motivated individual to fill DVP's Hotline Volunteer. The applicant should demonstrate a commitment and interest in non-profit work and helpings survivors of domestic violence receive access and guidance towards beneficial legal and clinical services.
The Domestic Violence Project (DVP) seeks a Fall Legal Intern to work within a legal-psychosocial framework with survivors of domestic violence to provide assistance to Family Law attorneys in matters concerning orders of protection, custody, visitation and child/spousal support.
We seek a Social Worker to provide legal and social services to clients who are experiencing problems in accessing Cash Assistance and SNAP (Food Stamps) benefits, as well as to clients experiencing problems with the New York City homeless shelter system.
